My friend Cornie, who is originally from The Internet, is spending some time teaching English in China. For several months now I’ve enjoyed reading about her adventures in a strange land.
Cornie has also been snapping pictures and posting them on flickr. I’ve enjoyed seeing exotic meals, ancient temples, and her newly redocorated apartment. But this bit of mangled English may be my favorite so far.
Ouch.
have you seen Engrish.com? I was alerted to that site when a friend of mine was in Japan last year. similarly hilarious English translation problems–lots of laughs to be had there.
