Today I am thankful for:
~this short film about Prince’s Hot Chicken Shack. Of course, now I won’t be satisfied until we go there again.
~Pea pointing out every exit sign she sees. "Exit! Exit! Means go out this door. Exit!"
~an awfully nice Sunday, complete with sleeping in and ice cream.
~free drink day tomorrow at Maxximo Jo’s. Worth the drive to Smyrna, I think, if you’re in Nashville or Chicago or wherever.
~MONUMENTAL changes in Pea’s sleep habits this week. Note that I said "habits," not "problems" or even "issues." More on this later today, if I can make the time.
~a deep and serious conversation about the squozing of zits.
~kind words about my photos, kind words about my writing.
~new glasses of awesomnity.
~getting some planting done this week. Just flowers for now, but I hope we can make a place to plant fall veggies.
~Pea learning to walk Zoe Pudl on a leash. It’s total chaos sometimes, not entirely unlike me walking Alex.

~the best part of not working — not having a crappy job.
