As soon as I saw this post on Neatorama, I knew that I wouldn’t be able to forget about
Peteena. What, you’re not familiar with Peteena? She’s a fashion poodle! Much like Barbie, but shorter and fatter. And with a tail. And, um, a poodle head. How could anyone resist? Peteena was manufactured by Hasbro in 1966. I can’t figure out for the life of me what they were thinking — perhaps that a poodle enthusiast with a soft spot for kitschy toys might obsess over her 40 years later? There are a few Peteenas on eBay, but the best one is from a seller that looks sort of shady. (No feedback, doesn’t take PayPal.) I guess I just need to keep looking. My dad is a flea market frequenter, but I can’t really ask him to look for this for me — I’m almost certain that he would keep it for himself.
i eat monkeys on a daily basis and have to say that your website sucks poodles in bakinis are only funny when there are chinese japenese poddles ogleing them!!! ps i hate you and everything your poodle stands for!
